DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the position control ECU assembly (driver seat) cannot be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen.

HINT:

The position control ECU assembly (driver seat) controls the front power seat control system (w/ Memory) related items that are customizable via the multi-display assembly screen.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When replacing the radio receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one.

If a radio receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:

  • A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
  • The radio receiver assembly may not operate normally.

HINT:

Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for Audio and Visual System.

1.

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

OK:

CAN communication DTCs are not output.

NG

GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

OK

2.

CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Memory)

(a) Check if the front power seat control system (w/ Memory) is malfunctioning.

HINT:

Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the front power seat control system (w/ Memory).

OK:

No malfunctions are present in the front power seat control system (w/ Memory).

NG

GO TO FRONT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Memory)

CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs.
