CUSTOMIZE POWER BACK DOOR SYSTEM

HINT:

The following items can be customized.

NOTICE:

  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
  • Record the current settings before customizing.

(a) Customizing with the Techstream.

(1) Turn the power switch off.

(2) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(3) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(4) Turn the Techstream on.

(5) Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / PSD & PBD operation.

(6) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

Function that enables or disables the power back door assist open operation. When PBD Assist Open Operation is set to on (enabled) the back door will open automatically when the back door opener switch assembly (opener switch) is operated.

Function that enables/disables the power back door and rear emblem sensor assembly.*2

(b) Customizing with the Multi-display

(1) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(2) Enter the following menus: Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Other Vehicle Settings.

(3) Select the setting by referring to the table below.
