DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
DESCRIPTION
(a) Lighting system data and the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the Techstream to check for malfunctions, and then perform repairs.

INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE
(a) Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.
Standard voltage:
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding.
DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
(a) When a headlight assembly malfunctions, "Headlight System Malfunction Visit Your Dealer" is displayed on the multi-information display.
HINT:
If the system returns to normal, the warning message "Headlight System Malfunction Visit Your Dealer" displayed on the multi-information display turns off.

DTCs may be output when connectors are disconnected during inspection. Therefore, be sure to clear the DTCs using the Techstream once the inspection has been completed.
