VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE

(a) Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V (Power switch off)

If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*

(a) Using the Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

HINT:

Refer to CAN Bus Check in CAN Communication System.

CHECK FOR DTC*

HINT:

Refer to DTC Check / Clear.

(a) Clear the DTCs.

(b) Reproduce the detection conditions of the recorded DTC.

(c) Attempt to duplicate the malfunction and check if the DTCs are output again.
