REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

3. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH (for Manual Seat)

5. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH (for Manual Seat)

6. REMOVE NO. 3 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD

HINT:

If the message "Maintenance required for hybrid battery cooling parts at your dealer" is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly, inspect the No. 3 battery service cover board after removing it.

(a) Remove the 2 clips.

*a	for Manual Seat
*b	for Power Seat

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 3 battery service cover board.

Disconnect the wire harness clamp and power seat switch connector.

7. REMOVE NO. 2 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 battery service cover board.

Reassembly

REASSEMBLY PROCEDURE 1. INSTALL PACKING (a) Install 3 new packings. 2. INSTALL REAR SPOILER NO. 2 PROTECTOR HINT: When installing the rear spoiler No. 2 protector, heat the rear spoiler assembly using a heat light. Standard: Item Temperature Rear Spoiler Assembly 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F
