These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the radio receiver assembly

When one of the conditions below is met:

  • "HD Radio" tuner decoder malfunction
  • "HD Radio" tuner audio output section malfunction
  • "HD Radio" tuner decoder RF/IF malfunction

LAN Master Malfunction

When either of the following conditions is met:

  • Bus malfunction
  • EEPROM error

Radio Tuner Malfunction

When any of the following conditions is met:

  • AM tuner PLL is unlocked
  • FM tuner PLL is unlocked
  • Tuner malfunction

DVD Changer Malfunction

When any of the following conditions is met:

  • Mechanism drive signal malfunction
  • Load/Eject malfunction
  • Read mechanism malfunction

When either of the following conditions is met:

  • Open in UART communication line is detected based on radio receiver assembly activation failure
  • Open in UART communication line is detected based on communication error

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When replacing the radio receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one.

If a radio receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:

  • A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
  • The radio receiver assembly may not operate normally.

HINT:

Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for Audio and Visual System.

CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs.

Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs

(b) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU (a) Connect the 2 connectors. Bolt Connector (b) Attach the guide and clip to install the multiplex network door ECU. NOTICE: Be careful not to drop the multiplex network door ECU as it may become damaged. (c) Install the
