DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) cannot be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen.

HINT:

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the items for the following systems that are customizable via the multi-display assembly screen:

  • Power door lock control system
  • Wireless door lock control system
  • Lighting system (INT)
  • Lighting system (EXT)

NOTICE:

  • When replacing the radio receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one.

    If a radio receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:

    • A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
    • The radio receiver assembly may not operate normally.
  • Before replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), refer to Registration.

Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for Audio and Visual System.

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

CAN communication DTCs are not output.

CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

(a) Check if the power door lock control system is malfunctioning.

HINT:

Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the power door lock control system.

OK:

No malfunctions are present in the power door lock control system.

CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

(a) Check if the wireless door lock control system is malfunctioning.

These items shown as customizable via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the Techstream. In a following step, the Techstream will be used.

(1) To match-up the items in the multi-display assembly with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the power door lock control system related items that can be customized via the multi-display assembly screen.
